After experiencing stigma and family rejection, Ageyure found support through the Tiyanbangya Self-Help Group. With regular medication and livelihood support, she now earns an income through basket weaving and rearing goats.
With support from the Yinesungmah Self-Help Group, Grace found emotional support, a cash grant and straw materials for basket weaving, and later a sewing machine to train in dressmaking. Her son’s condition has stabilised.
While caring for her father with epilepsy, Hilda joined the YINESUNGMAH Self-Help Group. With his improved medical care, she trained in dressmaking, received a sewing machine and now runs a shop with four apprentices.
